Wonders of the World

Iguazu Falls definitely earned its title as a Wonder of the World.  This wonder though was not priceless. For non-DNI Argentina card holders it was 4 times the dent in one's pocket, but with the Indiana Jones theme song playing in my head as we hiked through the monkey and anteater/raccoon/opossum creature infested jungle our first, second, third, and tenth glance of the thunderous falls was worth every peso. As commonly said; pictures do not do it justice!

If anywhere your gonna find the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow it will be here. The vistas themselves were golden.

first sighting of the falls and a little excited to say the least

the possum/racoon/anteater creature also known as Coati Mundi

At the mouth of El Diablo

I know water is a natural energy source but I've never experienced in such a tangible way before, the air itself was thundering with energy.

A calm river snaking through Brazil into Argentina suddenly drops plummeting anything and anyone to its death under immense pressure. How did this happen? Two different gods fell in love with the same woman, one won the love of the girl and attempted an escape down the river with her to live happily ever after, the other angry and jealous god split the river to bring the lovers to their death.
And that is the scientific truth of how Iguazu Falls came to be.

Feeling the adventure of Indiana in my blood

Boat ride into the falls....totally touristy and totally worth it!

Not a bad start a 2 week adventure through Brazil and Argentina
