27 in Salta

After Bibby left me in Buenos Aires I buckled down and started playing real life....looking for work, studying Spanish, looking for work, and looking for work. I landed work at a wine bar/boutique Bed and Breakfast working as the breakfast chef and Wine barista getting to expand my Argentine wine knowledge as well as getting to sip some of the best Argentina has to offer. I also was hired for a writing internship for a travel company where I got to research hot spots in South America and write about them....yes please! I do this any way! My birthday rolled around right before my future jobs commenced so I decided to take my last moment of unemployment and head to Salta for a bookended week. I had heard rumors since I landed in Buenos Aires that Salta was a beautiful destination to put on your list while in Argentina. And bordering Chile and Bolivia with the Andes back drop supports a colorful gaucho culture that Buenos Aires doesn't have the space for. After two 20 hour bus rides and 10 days I found I'd fallen in love with all that is Salta, truly "La Linda".

Check out my blogs for the travel company I wrote for about my time in Salta:
